Mini Soccer and Junior Football Coaching in TamesideThe site is designed to be of interest to anyone who wants to learn more about Junior Football and Mini Soccer at AFC Stanley Junior Football Club, perhaps with a view to getting involved. It is designed to be a useful resource for the many people who are already involved such as children, parents, team managers and coaches, and sponsors and supporters. You can follow a soccer team's progress through links to the Reddish & District League Junior Football League, the Tameside & District Junior Football League, and the Tameside Sunday Junior Football League, monitor the conditions and availability of pitches in Tameside, and keep track of the latest developments at the football club. It should also be of interest to you if you're involved in your own club - perhaps looking for a team to play a friendly match or to participate in your football tournament; you might be browsing from overseas, considering the possibilities of an exchange trip (we're based in Tameside, very near to Manchester, England, not far away from some very famous Premiership Football Clubs!) FA Charter Standard scheme defines best practice standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs that involve the participation of children and youth. Our Charter Standard status is reviewed regularly to ensure that best practice is maintained. Our long-term aim is to become officially recognised as an FA Community Club - the pinnacle of the club development pathway. We already have in place a great deal of what is required to gain Community Club status: high quality, multi-team (minimum of 10 teams) set up with excellent social, training and playing opportunities for all, with qualified coaches, first aiders and child protection officers. AFC Stanley supports the FA's Football For All Campaign: "Football For All is about fairness. It's about doing things properly. About making sure everyone has a chance to be involved in football, regardless of ability, race or religion. About encouraging and increasing the involvement of groups at all levels of football by recognising that inequalities exist and taking steps to address them. It's about making opportunities available where currently there are none. About using the power of football to build a better future. In order to achieve these objectives, Football For All has become a part of everything we do at The FA". You're very welcome to browse the AFC Stanley website. I hope you find what you're looking for, if you feel that you can help the club to achieve its aims, and if you would like to get involved, please don't hesitate to contact us.
